My 1st new car for nearly 10years and thinking I've got a really good EV for 30k. One thing...can't find a jack. Seems to be a cut out in the foam with nothing there. I've got the inflator and thr gunk that goes with it. Seems like I'll have to buy one. Want a compact lightweight one as not much room and probably a wheel brace too - any suggestions?
I used to carry a skinny spare with my old Seat Alhambra but no room in the E:ny1....feel a bit exposed ..eek!
No Jack with my new E:ny1!

As you do not have a spare (of any type) why do you need a jack?
You are covered by the Honda breakdown service for the length of the warranty. Get them to sort it. The AA carry space savers with universal hub adapters which they will fit and lend you (Check my facts ring AA)
A puncture in a modern car is a right royal pain in the *rse! If you get one and use the 'gunk' it is NOT a permanent repair. You should get to a tyre depot asap at which time they will probably refuse to repair the puncture because it is full of 'gunk'. So instead of costing around £20 for a repair it will cost you over £100 for a new tyre!!
If you feel you MUST have a jack for any reason check the gross weight of the eNY:1 (2080Kg) which is 80Kg over one metric tonne (or Imperial ton).
I tried to jack up the corner of my eNiro (1 ton) with a 1.5 ton capacity scissor jack and it started to buckle.
My son has a 2.5ton trolley jack and that managed fairly easily.
Your smallest option would probably be a 2.5 ton hydraulic bottle jack (try Machine Mart)
Luckily the eNiro has space for a space saver, so I bought one!

Thanks! I did carry a skinny previously (18inch which I still have but probably a different fitting) in my Alhambra but had a lot more room. Will sell that and call out Honda or use my free AA via Nationwide going forward. Just needed to catch-up with what happens these days. Thanks again for the advice.

Are you going to be travelling a lot in places without any mobile phone signal? When I bought a Mk 2 Jazz hybrid in 2011 I used to carry a space saver in the boot as the phone coverage was much more patchy then. These days the coverage has improved and I would rely on HondaCare (=AA) coming to my rescue. Touch wood and fingers crossed that I won't need to find out how quick the service is.
