Wireless Android Auto
Hi Wieben,
The problem is that unlike Honda's e:HEVs the e:Ny1 does not have physical buttons, i.e. Home, Audio Power and Skip buttons which must be pressed at the same time.
The workshop manager at my dealership has been trying to get the information from Honda's tech support since January with no luck. I've been trying to get the email address for the UK/Europe CEO but I know the one listed (Jean-Marc Streng) is no longer the CEO.

Aren't there on screen buttons that simulate the physical buttons? Have you tried pressing the on screen buttons at the same time?Ron1452 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 7:11 am Hi Wieben,

Wireless Android Auto is possible, it is really in the system! It is in the hidden diagnostic menu. My dealer enabled this.
I did not manage to login in the diagnostic menu myself, but I do know how it is supposed to work.
Switch the car to "ON"
Switch ventilation to "OFF" (otherwise there are no hidden buttons to press)
I don't know, but to be sure switch the radio off as well.
The hidden buttons are located here:
This should be the sequence to enter the diagnostic menu, but like i said, I never got is to work on our car.
- Press 1 (short)
- Press 2 (for at least 3 seconds)
- Press 2 (short)
- Press 1 (short)
- Press 2 (for at least 3 seconds)
- Press 1 (short)
- Press 1 (short)
- Press 2 (short)
If it takes over 1 second between presses, you need to start all over.
If you hear a beep, I think it means it fails. Then wait for a few seconds and start all over.
I am very curious when someone has this working, please react to this post, or even better, make a YT of it.

Are you sure on those button presses? I am not able to reach that menu, on some other cars the two hidden buttons work with just holding for 6 seconds on both?
100% sure this is the way. Did you switch off the ventilation and put the car in "ON"?Th34monk3ys wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 4:00 pm Are you sure on those button presses? I am not able to reach that menu, on some other cars the two hidden buttons work with just holding for 6 seconds on both?

When you say on, do you mean ready to drive or accessories on? I rarely use aircon so I don't have that on

I saw a YouTube channel in Russian, they did it another way but the software is different on top screen and they could access from holding the software version button for 15 seconds.
possibly the same?
