Honda continues to help customers ‘Go Electric’ with the introduction of a new proposition for the e:Ny1 electric vehicle, revolutionising the way customers experience electric mobility. Honda has reduced the price of both models by around £5000. In addition Honda is throwing in a £3,000 deposit contribution for customers who get the e:Ny1 using a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) or Hire Purchase (HP) finance agreement.

Effective from Tuesday 2 April, the revised pricing for the e:Ny1 sees the Elegance model starting from £39,995(OTR) or £299 per month. The Advance model starts from £42,195 (OTR) or £339 per month. The e:Ny1 is available with 1.9% APR Representative and £3,000 deposit contribution, and this offer is available until 30 June 2024.

Customers will be able to arrange an e:Ny1 test drive with their local Retailers from today, and orders can be placed from Tuesday 23 April.

From 23 April, customers will also have the flexibility to purchase the e:Ny1 either online, or in-store at Retailers to suit their preferences. Whether customers choose to buy entirely online, visit Honda Retailers, or opt for a blend of both, the entire car buying process - including part-exchange, test drives, and finance applications - can be seamlessly conducted to provide maximum convenience.

"April marks an exciting milestone for Honda as we unveil our new approach for the e:Ny1," said Rebecca Adamson, Head of Automobile at Honda Motor Europe Limited (UK). "We are incredibly excited for the future of electric mobility and are proud to offer customers an exceptional blend of convenience and affordability. This new proposition reflects our commitment to innovation and sustainability, and we are confident that it will empower customers to ‘Go Electric’ with enthusiasm."

In the Netherlands Honda launched a "Limited edition" with some discount. In fact it is the advantage edition for a lower price than the standard edition. The priced the car just under €45k EUR (44,999) to qualify for government subsidies.

To be honest, without the discount I think the Honda was priced too high compared to the market.

Even WITH the discount, the price in the UK is a joke, There are so many better EVs available for the same or less money and 2025 will see the Chinese invasion of EVs at much more sensible prices (for what you get for the money)
I hear rumours that Honda in Oz is in trouble. The Oz motorists generally are getting fed up with silly pricing levels and declining reliability. :(
