Don't forget if the starting price of the base CR-V is as expected to be over £40k, owners will incur an additional VED cost of £390 over the standard £180 VED for 5 years after it is first registered.

No chance, they are quoting a starting price of £34k for the Z-RV, so a starting price of over £40k looks to be in the offing. Pushing the CR-V over the £40k threshold is the only logical reason for including the ZR-V into their range.

The CR-V is now larger, so not really the same as the previous generations. Hence the price increase. ZR-V is the new CR-V!
